Morgan’s Point 100th Anniversary

You're invited to join NPCA for "Voices of the Shore" and a centennial tribute to Morgan’s Point on June 6, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., marking the 100th anniversary of this cherished shoreline treasure. This commemorative event invites guests to reconnect with the land through Indigenous perspectives and shared history.
Beginning at 11:00 am, visitors will experience a guided trail walk featuring Indigenous teachings, ecological knowledge, historical interpretation by the Wainfleet Historical Society and geology lessons by the Niagara Geopark. A highlight of the celebration is a live shoreline performance by internationally acclaimed Huron-Wendat composer, violinist, and producer Geneviève Gros-Louis. Following her performance, guests will gather for an official ribbon-cutting ceremony to honour Morgan’s Point’s 100-year legacy.
The celebration continues throughout the day with family-friendly activities, interactive learning stations, children’s crafts, guided nature walks, and more—welcoming visitors of all ages to join in this meaningful tribute to the land and its stories.
