Freedom of Information

The Niagara Peninsula Conservation Authority is mandated to adhere to the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, R.S.O. 1990, CHAPTER M.56 (MFIPPA). For information on MFIPPA, please visit the Ontario Government's e-laws website, which can be found here.

MFIPPA allows for the application of fees to a Freedom of Information request. Each request requires a $5 application fee. In certain instances under Section 45 of the act, fees may be waived. In addition to the $5.00 application fee, the Act provides that costs are to be borne by those who request access to information.
