NPCA seeks person who cares about drinking water

Welland, ON - May 3, 2017 - Applications are being accepted to fill vacancies for a public interest (general public) representative and a Commerce representative on the Niagara Peninsula Source Protection Committee.

The 9-member committee oversees the development and implementation of a source protection plan to protect the sources of drinking water in Niagara Peninsula watersheds. The work is being done under the Ontario Clean Water Act, 2006.

The application form and more information on the eligibility and duties of committee members can be found at or is available at the head office of the Niagara Peninsula Conservation Authority at 250 Thorold Road West, 3rd Floor, Welland.
