The Niagara Peninsula Conservation Authority (NPCA) is excited to unveil its refreshed online engagement portal—Get Involved NPCA. This newly enhanced platform makes it easier than ever for community members to engage with NPCA projects and initiatives, offering a more inclusive and user-friendly experience for residents of the Niagara Peninsula watershed.
Since its launch in 2018, Get Involved NPCA has played a key role in fostering communication and collaboration between NPCA and the local community. It has significantly improved the way NPCA engages—moving beyond traditional in-person approaches to provide more accessible, inclusive, and creative methods of participation. The updated platform builds on years of success, providing expanded opportunities for feedback, enhanced interactivity, and tailored content and user settings to further engage the public in conservation efforts.
Offering a more robust, inclusive, and user-friendly experience, key features of the new engagement platform include:
- More ways to engage with projects and provide feedback through creative and interactive tools and widgets.
- Customizable preferences to receive updates based on specific project areas or geographic watershed communities.
- Enhanced functionality across all devices, with a focus on mobile-friendly.
- Improved accessibility for all users, regardless of technical skills or abilities.
- Flexible and customizable design, making the information the community cares about easier to read and more visually appealing.
While the platform has been redesigned for a refreshed look, users will continue to use the same URL (www.getinvolved.npca.ca), and their existing accounts and preferences will remain active. However, when logging to the new platform for the first time, users will be prompted to update passwords.
NPCA strives to strengthen the connection between local communities and the vital conservation work happening in the watershed, ensuring a more sustainable and collaborative future for all. Visit the new Get Involved NPCA site today and be part of shaping the future of conservation in the Niagara Peninsula watershed.
