The Niagara Peninsula Conservation Authority (NPCA) Board announces the upcoming departure of its Chief Administrative Officer (CAO), Chandra Sharma, who will be leaving to join Conservation Halton as their new President and CEO. Chandra will begin her new position with Conservation Halton on September 9, 2024.
During her tenure, Chandra has been instrumental in transforming NPCA, fostering a culture of collaboration, and driving key initiatives that have strengthened the organization’s impact on the community and across the Niagara Peninsula watershed. This transition marks a period of reflection and pride for NPCA as we acknowledge the organization’s many achievements over the past several years.
The NPCA Board of Directors will soon commence the recruitment process for a new CAO. Chandra will ensure leadership continuity and remain available during an overlap period to facilitate a seamless transition. The Board is committed to finding a leader who will build on the strong foundation laid by Chandra and continue to advance NPCA’s mission.
