Temporary Positions- Ball’s Falls Thanksgiving Festival 2025


Join us at the 51st Ball’s Falls Thanksgiving Festival featuring 150+ unique craft and artisan vendors, delicious foods, craft beverages and wines, a farmers’ market, live music on the main stage, children’s entertainment, historical demonstrations, heritage tours, guided nature hikes, and so much more.

Enjoy the beauty of the fall season along the Niagara Escarpment as you take in the sights, sounds and delicious scents of the Thanksgiving Festival and explore the colourful forested trails.

Job Type: Temporary
Salary: $17.60 /hour

The Opportunity

The 51st Anniversary Ball’s Falls Thanksgiving Festival will be held Friday October 10th through Monday October 13th, 2025.

The NPCA is looking employ several individuals to assist in the successful implementation of the 51st Anniversary Thanksgiving Festival.

Positions required for the event include:

  • Gate Cashiers (Cash/POS experience required)
  • Alcohol Service Staff (Cash/POS/Smart Serve experience required)
  • Event Parking

Please note the following:

  • Positions will pay $17.60/hr
  • Employees scheduled to work on the statutory holiday (Thanksgiving Monday) will be paid one and one and a half times the regular rate of pay for each hour worked ($26.40)
  • Employees will also be entitled to 4% vacation pay.
  • Hours of work: 8 - 10 hours/day, as notified in advance.
  • The NPCA will provide complimentary coffee and lunch during breaks.
  • Attendance on all four days is preferred.
  • Experience working or volunteering at large scale events is an asset.
  • Smart Serve Certification Required (for Alcohol Service staff only)
  • POS and Cash Experience Required
